The greatest possible news you can get from a friend is that they have an extra ticket for a Los Angeles gourmet food event up for grabs. It’s like waking up thinking it’s a Monday when it is actually Saturday (although that’s likely not to happen since the pounding headache from last night’s drinking will make a sharp and biting reminder that it is most certainly the weekend). I was fortunate enough to receive this news from my BFF Kaila Yu, and boy oh boy am I excited for this fantastical nomfest, Masters of Taste.

So what is Masters of Taste, you say? Tomorrow, Sunday, April 3rd marks the day where the phenomenal congregation of 40 of LA’s best restaurants and 25 local delectable breweries, wineries, and spirits take over the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA. Event producer Dennis Richardson (Taste LA, Taste Beverly Hills, and Wolfgang Puck Catering) and restaurant owner and businessman Rob Levy (The Raymond 1886, HomeStreet Bank) are the masterminds behind this food-fanatic event, and their charitable efforts are benefiting the Union Station Homeless Services. The event is open to the public, and for all of you latecomers, you can purchase your tickets here. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, there will be a VIP section with private lounge seating and concierge dining services.
